The Technical Account Manager is responsible for the active account management of a select portfolio of key accounts. This includes client retention, nurturing existing client relationships as well as hitting performance targets. They will proactively assist clients in the use of Vista Cinema & Movio products as part of their day-to-day operations strategy and inform them of all new feature releases. The Technical Account Manager will be the first point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a select portfolio of Vista Cinema and/or Movio client accounts in their assigned region
  • Develop and maintain positive and proactive working relationships in order to build and maintain client confidence in, and satisfaction with, Vista Group’s products and services
  • Provide guidance and proactive support, including by leading regular conference calls with each client in their account portfolio, to ensure clients are achieving objectives, maximising their use of our products and services and therefore delivering a positive return on their investment
  • Ownership of small to medium projects, from commencement to completion using the necessary service delivery tools and resources, when a dedictated Project Manager is not assigned
  • Identify and conduct product training for client staff around new products and major platform enhancements virtually and/or in-person
  • Lead and/or participate in on-going client planning sessions to ensure clients are optimising use of our products and services as part of their broader business operations strategy
  • Discover upselling possibilities and liaise with the Sales team to prepare proposals for additional Vista Group products and services
  • Proactively manage client needs, have honest conversations and be able to balance clients’ needs with those of the business.
  • Work with the marketing team on client-facing marketing materials, case-studies, press activity, and industry events as required 
  • Work with the Account Directors and Regional Head of Client Success to forecast client specific sales targets and ensure they are met 
  • Work with Finance teams to support activities related to billing and debt collection management
  • Some international travel (primarily within their assigned region) may be required

Specific responsibilities for Vista Cinema products:

  • Provide support in the requirements gathering, planning and the implementation of specific client-facing projects e.g. BAU features, Module implementations and development requests
  • Liaise with development, technical services and sales teams to draw up feature development contracts and services contracts
  • Liaise with Support and Services teams to ensure compliance with client SLAs for Support and Services
  • Produce monthly reports summarising SLA compliance, customer satisfaction and customer interactions

 

Specific responsibilities for Movio products:

  • Provide guidance on client’s targeted marketing strategies across various media channels (email, digital campaigns, social campaigns, etc…) 
  • Draw up digital or social campaign, research, feature development and services contracts 
  • Periodic monitoring, assessment, and reporting on the effectiveness of the various client campaigns across all Movio products (including Movio EQ, MADEX, Movio Research and Movio Media where applicable) and recommend changes to improve engagement and ROI 
  • Work with the colleagues in the Film pillar to support the proactive development of targeted campaign opportunities and services proposals for studio, distributor and agency prospects and clients 
  • Support colleagues in the Film pillar by liaising with Exhibitors on various aspects of campaign development and execution as it relates to working with 3rd parties (e.g film studios, agencies, publishers, other suppliers) as required
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of direct and digital marketing campaigns and research projects, for both new and existing clients 
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Campaign Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate execution of direct and digital campaigns for relevant Operational Services clients
  • Lead post campaign analysis and reporting, communicating outcomes and insights to studio, distributor and agency clients 
  • Coordinate and support internal and external client campaign debriefs - proactively identify and communicate opportunities for improving campaign effectiveness 
  • Support the reconciliation and accurate reporting of Movio Media, Research or MADEX remittances for participating Movio Cinema clients 
  • Ensure that sales and billing activity and other relevant client data is accurately entered and managed within Movio’s sales management systems 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Vista Cinema and/or Movio products
  • Experience within a cinema exhibitor, or on a cinema exhibitor account within an agency preferred
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal 
  • Must be able to break down complex technical topics into common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences
  • A passion for quality and attentive customer service; strong client relationship skills
  • Experience in understanding cost estimates for solutions
  • Experience with data-driven marketing strategies, marketing data analytics, digital advertising, advertising/marketing technology is strongly preferred 
  • Ability to interpret data and understand the applications of big data analytics for digital advertising and data-driven movie marketing strategies 
  • Ability to inform digital media planning, platform strategy and campaign management 
  • A positive track record in business development, including responding to client RFPs and proactive client proposals
  • Fluency in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and German would be an advantage
