Description

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering best in class marketing campaigns and events for new product launches and on-going evergreen support at our retailers. They will also be the central lead for all Charlotte Tilbury events in the field across all accounts – bridging the brand marketing objectives with the sales and field teams’ goals and needs. The aim is to assist all doors in driving sales, customer loyalty and brand awareness. This individual will also assist in optimizing Retailer.com content and assets, and will be integral for commercial organization, working with all functions to deliver success and innovation.

  • Develop, drive and execute events based on Charlotte Tilbury brand marketing plans and commercial priorities.
    • Manage all aspects of event planning from customer experience conception and development, contracting/negotiating with vendors, and overseeing event execution
    • Brief internal and external partners on projects and initiatives; create collateral for events and in-store needs
    • Partner with the Commercial and Education teams to align on event messaging and imagery
    • Responsible for the event budget; ensuring all programs are strategically planned within agreed upon budget – owning PO’s and tracking for respective animations and elements. Track and monitor total events budget throughout the year.
    • Act as the point of contact for eventing related queries for the Commercial team
    • Provide event recap and analysis - set sales goal target with Commercial, identify drivers, and recommend strategic optimizations accordingly. Communicate learnings to inform future strategies.
  • Optimize Retailer.com with best in class asset delivery, securing online placements, and ensuring all marketing efforts are omni-channel in approach
  • Learn, build and spearhead retailer strategies at specific accounts, tailoring as needed to optimize sales and marketing goals.
  • Offer support to the global marketing team ensuring local needs and strategies are considered, and retailer.com and retail assets are briefed

Requirements

  • +3 Years integrated marketing, account management, trade marketing or customer marketing in the beauty or retail vertical
  • Experience with events is a plus, as well as an understanding of beauty retailers
  • Collaborative approach with sales and field functions
  • Undergraduate degree with a business & commercial focus preferred
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Extremely proactive – enjoys working independently but is also a team player
  • Self-starter – identifies opportunities and pursues them
