What the day will look like
  • Assist in defining marketing strategy (specific to placement)
  • Review Submission
  • Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
  • Present terms to client / network
  • Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)
  • Record broking activity in market sheets
  • Review draft / final MRC
  • Send Cover confirmation
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings
  • Respond to A/C queries
  • Assist in establishing and managing pipeline of new business
  • Assist in market Relationship Management

Our book of business is growing significantly and this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join a dynamic broking team with an excellent reputation.

The team is comprised of specialist placing brokers, plus a separate and dedicated Client Service Team to support the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience gained within the London insurance market as either a Broker or Insurer
  • Experience in handling US Casualty risk and expertise in rail most advantageous
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to utilise insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Ability to interpret and use data
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
