Job Overview:
MILE is a leading luxury fashion platform, partnering with over 100 top-tier luxury brands and offering an always-on flow of products with daily drops. We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to manage the visual merchandising of our mobile app. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the app’s visual appearance and product presentation, ensuring that our luxury brand standards are upheld and daily drops are optimally showcased. You will report directly to the E-Commerce & Marketplace Manager and collaborate closely with the marketing team to manage drop cadence and ensure seamless execution.
This is a remote role, with the flexibility to work from anywhere. However, we do have working offices in Sheffield and London that are available for use at your preference.
Key Responsibilities:
App Visual Merchandising:
Manage the visual presentation and layout of products within the MILE mobile app, ensuring product displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards, driving engagement and sales.
Daily Drop Management:
Coordinate with the buying and merchandising teams to manage the cadence and visual presentation of daily drops on the app, ensuring each product release is optimized for user experience and visibility.
Product Consistency:
Ensure products are accurately grouped by Brand, Colour, Category, Size (including size scheme alignment). Regularly audit & flag any discrepancies in product categorization.
Brand Consistency:
Uphold the aesthetic standards of MILE, ensuring consistency across the app while showcasing a wide range of products from over 100 brand partners.
Product Flow:
Work closely with the buying team to ensure a continuous and strategic flow of new products onto the app, presenting them in ways that maximize engagement and conversion.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to align product launches, promotions, and app visuals with broader brand initiatives and campaigns. Be the point of contact for Content and Marketing teams and provide any necessary data and keep inbound tracker up to date.
Image consistency
Work closely with the graphic design team to provide all necessary images for upload and flag any product image faults on app.
Trend Awareness:
Create new edits for the app homepage and email/push comms, stay updated on visual merchandising trends in luxury fashion, ensuring the MILE app remains fresh and on-brand, aligning with seasonal trends and marketing goals.
Performance Tracking:
Monitor the impact of visual merchandising efforts on user engagement and product sales, adjusting strategies to optimize visual layout and product visibility.
User Experience Focus:
Ensure a seamless and visually compelling user experience within the app, enhancing the overall shopping journey for MILE customers.
Experience:
Proven experience in visual merchandising, with a focus on e-commerce, mobile apps, or digital platforms. Experience in luxury fashion is highly preferred across both menswear and womenswear.

Confident enough to make key decisions without relying on the team
Creativity & Innovation:
Ability to create visually compelling and innovative ways to showcase luxury products while maintaining brand standards.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail to ensure that the app’s visual presentation is flawless, with no inconsistencies in product display or brand presentation.
Commercial Awareness:
Strong understanding of how visual merchandising influences user behavior and drives sales, especially in a mobile/digital environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with mobile app platforms and e-commerce merchandising systems or tools.
Communication & Collaboration:
Strong communication skills to effectively work with buying, merchandising, and marketing teams.
Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a constant flow of new products and daily drops.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in digital or mobile app visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, luxury consumer behavior, and user experience design.
