Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

The VP of LMS GTM Operations will be focused on supporting our go-to-market for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS). This is a senior role that is tied to our fastest growing business. This person will focus on driving growth and leverage for the business by owning both the strategy and operations for the GTM functions. This role will partner closely with Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Data Science, Global Customer Support, Sales Systems and Product. 

This position offers a candidate with experience in Consulting, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Finance, or Strategic Planning an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of the LMS business and to an impactful operator within LinkedIn.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Create and drive the holistic strategy of our Go to Market approach in partnership with the VP of Sales for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, in addition to building collaborative cross functional partnerships to achieve business objectives 

  • Ensure the Go to Market operations runs smoothly with an eye for consistent improvements and efficiencies

  • Drive large and complex workstreams that impact the topline trajectory of our fastest growing business 

  • Create an ambitious and inspirational vision for the global LMS Sales Operations organization 

  • Recruit and develop talent that meet a high level of performance

  • Drive management decision-making and program development by deriving analytics and insights 

  • Interface with executive and senior leadership, including the opportunity to present insights / recommendations to executives 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 15+ years experience working across management consulting, investment banking or in sales operations, business operations or other analytical/strategic roles.

  • 7+ years of leadership experience including a track record of managing other leaders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree; MBA or advance degree preferred 

  • Preference for Sales Operations professionals who have had experience in Ads Sales Operations with experience in video ad formats, and have had experience with large scale change management efforts 

  • Experience working in advertising-led businesses with additional experience with video formats 

  • Experience working on global / large scale program rollouts and execution 

  • Experience with direct line reporting for Manager of managers 

  • Demonstrated ability to inspire coach and mentor direct reports and other members of a team 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and comfort partnering and challenging senior Sales executives 

  • Project management skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams towards common goals 

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication experience with senior leadership

  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments 

  • Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive insights and sound decision-making 

  • Able to move seamlessly from big picture thinking to operational tactics

The pay range for this role is $266,000 to $419,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
