We are looking for a VP, Strategy who is excited about joining a deeply-rooted strategy & analytics culture. You will lead the day to day core strategy work, working directly with the SVP, Strategy & Analytics on our key growth verticals (Food & Beverage, Tech, Financial Services, and more) and practices (strategic consulting, creative strategy, research & intelligence, and community & content). The ideal candidate should have significant experience in spearheading projects from start to finish, leading and coordinating with integrated teams (including, analytics, creative and account teams) and presenting to c-level clients. The candidate is a true team player with ability to work independently, manage and move projects effectively, on time, and with excellence. They will assess and scope incoming asks quickly, demonstrate deep cultural knowledge, experience in consumer research and work efficiently across deliverables.

Roles + Responsibilities: 

  • Spearheads the development of innovative strategies that align with client objectives, positioning the agency as a leader in social content and brand storytelling.
  • Acts as the primary strategic advisor for C-suite stakeholders and oversees high-profile accounts to ensure profitability, efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Plays a key role in high-stakes business pitches, ensuring the agency’s strategic and social capabilities remain competitive and compelling.
  • Oversees the adoption of new tools, platforms, and technologies to keep the agency at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Shapes the agency’s thought leadership by defining POVs on market trends, emerging platforms, and evolving consumer behaviors.
  • Identifies opportunities to expand agency strategic offerings and develop new revenue streams.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience as a marketing strategist, consultant working within an advertising/marketing agency or consulting environment
  • Experience or passion working at the intersection of, brand and creative strategy
  • Robust primary and secondary research skills required - ability to creatively use a mix of tools to uncover deep organizational, media, and audience insights; experience designing, conducting, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative target audience research
  • Ability to go deep in research to craft compelling narratives that clarify business and brand problems and opportunities 
  • Demonstrated ability to construct insightful, data-informed strategies (presentations, POVs, etc.) that guide creative 
  • Passionate about the work itself and collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team to produce amazing work

The salary band for this role is $220,000 - $240,000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
