We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Shangri-La The Shard, London.

Under the guidance of the Director of Marketing and Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, guest loyalty, and revenue growth across our hotel and renowned dining venues. This diverse role spans digital marketing, partnerships, social media, direct marketing, and advertising, providing an exceptional platform to showcase your expertise in luxury hospitality.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a driven and innovative marketing professional with a passion for luxury hospitality. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in marketing or a related field, with extensive knowledge of digital and direct marketing.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, ideally within the luxury hospitality or London market.
  • Advanced analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable strategies.
  • Experience working with multiple CMS systems and advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Proven success in creating and executing social media strategies to drive engagement and growth.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with experience managing and mentoring team members.
  • Familiarity with marketing budgets and the ability to manage them effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a luxury hotel marketing role.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
  • A master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • A creative and proactive approach to identifying marketing opportunities.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality with strong diplomatic and team-building skills.
