As the Associate Social Media Manager, you’ll help steward our social media presence, ensuring our business priorities are transformed into impactful and actionable tactics. You’ll drive strategic initiatives, manage content, and keep our social and digital efforts running efficiently and effectively.
Working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams, you’ll help craft and execute communication strategies, develop engaging content, and support various events. The ideal candidate is a food enthusiast with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excited to explore and integrate new AI tools, and well-versed in social media platforms, analytics, and industry best practices. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote paid/owned/earned social media initiatives and other integrated marketing efforts.
- Actively monitor social channels to prevent SPAM and maintain a level of discourse that meets our company’s communication standards.
- Brainstorm, develop, and manage social media with the Director of Marketing and Brand Ambassador across multiple platforms (Including but not limited to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
- Create and maintain content calendars to build strategies and drive growth in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Respond to comments, questions, and concerns and proactively establish, engage, and grow relationships with community members.
- Maintain a consistent voice reflecting the company’s communication standards.
- Identify influencers and supporters, spot trends, moderate comments, and help establish community culture and tone.
- Devise strategies to promote content and start conversations in the digital/social sphere.
- Monitor and track social media engagement and performance using site-specific tools and/or third-party analysis tools and report monthly metrics to Marketing and other StoreBound teams.
- Solicit and leverage user-generated content to support social media initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to learn about new products and conduct independent research about them on social media platforms.
- Develop social content, including Instagram/TikTok lives, product tutorials, and recipe videos, to encourage sales and engagement.
- Manage the ambassador program, which includes outreach for new ambassadors, order placements, and content delivery requests.
Event Support
- Support company onsite and off events, such as trade shows, video/photo productions, and promotions.
- Participate in event execution, setup, and breakdown.
- Interact with event-goers, creating an enthusiastic, positive, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Capture event highlights for video and/or social media.
- Work a flexible schedule with some availability on pre-arranged nights and weekends as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Creative with strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Comfortable on camera to help with social lives and content creation
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task priorities and deliverables
- Adept at problem-solving and working with cross-functional teams
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications and a minimum of 2+ years experience working with social media, specifically Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
- Experience launching community initiatives
- Experience working with Hootsuite, Later.com, Upfluence
- Experience working with Monday.com is a plus
- Familiar with marketing strategies, sales techniques, and customer service
