Basic Function:

 

The Director, Brand Marketing will lead integrated marketing and brand channels, including PR, organic social, influencer marketing, events, and brand activations. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with a proven track record of building brand awareness and engagement through compelling storytelling and community-driven initiatives.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

 

1. Develops and executes brand-building campaigns that drive awareness, affinity, and customer engagement across multiple channels.

 

2. Leads public relations efforts to increase brand visibility, securing impactful press coverage and strategic media placements.

 

3. Oversees social media strategy to enhance brand storytelling, audience growth, and engagement.

 

4. Develops and scales influencer partnerships to drive brand reach, credibility, and advocacy.

 

5. Leads event strategy and execution, including experiential marketing, partnerships, and trade shows.

 

6. Partners with e-commerce, retail, product, performance marketing, and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and messaging across all touchpoints.

 

7. Owns budgeting for marketing team.

 

8. Tracks and measures campaign effectiveness to optimize for engagement, conversion, and brand equity.

 

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

 

1. Requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent experience.

 

2. Requires 8+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, or a related field.

 

3. Must be able to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making

 

4. Requires ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align teams around a shared brand vision.

 

5. Needs to be able to connect with consumers emotionally, crafting brand narratives that resonate.

 

6. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

7. Must have a deep understanding of organic social, influencer marketing, and earned media strategies.

 

8. Experience leading multi-channel brand campaigns with measurable impact, from concept to execution.

 

9. Requires strong analytical mindset with proven ability to measure brand marketing impact.

 

10. Experience with consumer brands, fashion, accessories, or lifestyle preferred.
