Overview

We are seeking an energetic and market-savvy Channel Marketing Manager based in the UK to spearhead our channel marketing initiatives in the region. This pivotal role will drive the seamless integration of our Product, Sales, and Marketing functions, streamlining interactions and maximizing value for our partners and clients.

As the Channel Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving success across local markets by collaborating with B2C and B2B channels. You will lead the execution of our Channel Partner Program while cultivating strong, strategic relationships with developers, resellers, and distributors in the region. Representing our brand to channel partners, you will empower them with the resources, expertise, and enthusiasm needed to effectively promote and sell our sophisticated products and solutions.

This role is based in the UK and will require regular travel, primarily within the country.

Responsibilities

Localisation & Execution of Marketing Strategies

  • Tailor and implement global marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and adoption within the regional XR market, customising approaches for both B2C and B2B channels.
  • Develop and localise marketing assets, campaigns, and content to resonate with regional audiences while maintaining brand consistency and addressing market-specific dynamics.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of campaigns and initiatives, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

Channel Partner Programme Management

  • Oversee the execution of the Channel Partner Programme, equipping partners with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed for success.
  • Provide training, vendor-supported campaign assistance, and engagement initiatives to optimise partner performance and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for channel partners on marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Event Management & Brand Activations

  • Organise and execute regional events such as trade shows, product launches, and partner activations, either under the VIVE brand or through collaborations with local partners.
  • Act as an on-the-ground brand ambassador, engaging with partners and clients at events to foster loyalty and promote an integrated marketing approach.
  • Partner with local collaborators to design and execute co-branded events, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Sensing

  • Stay abreast of local market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the XR sector.
  • Identify and communicate tactical opportunities and market intelligence to influence organisational strategies.
  • Strengthen community presence by leveraging local networks and identifying potential partnerships.

Budget Management

  • Evaluate and optimise marketing investments with key partners to maximise returns.
  • Manage retail marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation and delivering measurable results.

Client & Partner Relationship Management

  • Foster strong, trust-based partnerships with local developers, resellers, and distributors.
  • Develop enduring marketing relationships with partners and clients, ensuring they receive cohesive and responsive support.
  • Demonstrate the value of a unified Product, Sales, and Marketing effort that simplifies and enhances partner experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales and Product teams to align marketing efforts with regional business objectives.
  • Act as the connective link between Product, Sales, and Marketing to deliver consistent messaging and seamless interactions for channel partners

KPI's

  • Achieve increased adoption of HTC VIVE products among key resellers and partners.
  • Drive measurable revenue growth and elevate brand recognition, outperforming competitors.
  • Deliver strong financial performance within the UK market.
  • Ensure customer focus and prioritisation to capitalise on opportunities and minimise missed prospects.

Person Specification

  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in channel or field marketing within a B2C or B2B technology environment.
    • Prior experience in XR, AR/VR, or related sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Market Knowledge:

    • Comprehensive understanding of the local market and XR industry.
    • Established network among local partners and stakeholders.
  • Programme Management:

    • Demonstrated success in executing and managing channel partner programmes or similar initiatives.
  • Event Management:

    • Expertise in planning, organising, and delivering impactful events and brand activations.
  • Analytical Skills:

    • Proficient in analysing market trends and partner performance to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Language Proficiency:

    • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • Education:

    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
    • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an added advantage.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated with a strategic mindset.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
