What You'll Do:
We are looking for an experienced & passionate Marketing Manager to join our team and support the Consumer Marketing Director in developing first-class marketing campaigns for Taste of London & Windsor Great Park Illuminated, Culinary Licensing and support on other events where required

  • Responsible for protecting and evolving the brand's creative, ensuring that consumer and trade communications position each brand in a unique, clear, and premium light.  

  • Deliver the events’ marketing and PR strategies to achieve maximum exposure whilst increasing brand awareness, ticket sales, and positive advocacy. 

  • Work alongside the digital team to ensure the paid digital campaign is aligned with the wider marketing campaign and monitor performance throughout to maximise ticket sales.  

  • Manage ticket modelling, ticket sales, revenue forecasting, and ongoing sales with multiple ticket agencies throughout the campaign. Update key internal stakeholders on the events success and delivery against forecast.  

  • Manage event marketing budgets working to find efficiencies, and greater ROI wherever possible. 

  • Oversee strategic development and day-to-day delivery of PR and influencer campaigns alongside the external PR agency, ensuring maximum coverage.  

  • Management and negotiation of third party, agency, and external stakeholder relationships related to and including but not limited to: media buying agency, content production teams and graphic designers, PR agency, and media partners. 

  • With the Event Director and Marketing Director, use internal and external research tools to develop a thorough understanding of the event's audience profile.  

  • Act as brand guardian and be the key touchpoint for international events including; Taste of Dubai, Taste of Abu Dhabi, Vivid & Trame Di Luce (Rome ) 

  • Manage performance monitoring, optimisation and reporting of all marketing activity, and action adjustments where necessary to ensure optimisation for maximum performance, reach, and return on investment. 

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sponsor and partner marketing requirements are fulfilled and opportunities for reciprocal marketing are maximised. 

Working Conditions:

Permanent, London Chiswick Park

Mon-Fri, 35 hours per week

  • Some weekend work where you may be required to travel to events.  

  • Regular out-of-hours work during the production and delivery of each event. 

  • Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.

  • Repeat attendance (retention) and increased ticket sales rates 

  • Number of new partnerships to extend brand reach.

You Have These:

  • Demonstrable event marketing experience. 

  • Highly proficient at developing 360 event marketing campaigns. 

  • A proven ability to interpret data and report on the effectiveness of a marketing campaign. 

  • Knowledge and experience of successful end-to-end event budget management. 

  • Extensive experience managing the development and production of creative assets & content that drive consumers through the purchase funnel effectively. 

  • Strong digital & social marketing experience and understanding. 

  • Strong UK media mix understanding and existing relationships with key London media. 

 

Skills and Abilities 

  • Deep understanding and passion for consumer-first strategy & creative and performance marketing 

  • Strong numerical understanding, and the ability to interpret sales results/trends. 

  • Open to change and the ability to embrace change with a willingness to learn whilst being a problem solver, innovative, and strategic thinker. 

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing, proofing, and editorial skills - excellent attention to detail. 

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Ability to quickly learn and become an expert at using various insight & analytic tools, strong understanding, and ability to recommend new tools to improve our marketing campaigns and activity. 

  • Ability to challenge the status quo backed by empirical evidence. 

  • A deep knowledge and passion for food and the London restaurant scene is desirable. 

  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 

  • Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision. 

  • A strong team player that is flexible 

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines. 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise. 

 

Qualifications and Training 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in marketing and or business is preferred but not essential.
