The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Marketing Executive, vital to achieving our strategic goals for audience growth and monetisation on our owned channels, as well as client delivery.
This role will form part of the collaboration and alignment between our editorial and marketing teams. Reporting to the Global Senior Campaigns Manager, this role will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to plan and execute social media campaigns, whilst being a conduit with the wider Partner Marketing team. The focus will be on promoting partner marketing initiatives and our own content products, including newsletters, reports, podcasts, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Campaign Managers to create engaging, tailored content and execute social media campaigns as part of broader audience acquisition and partner marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to secure necessary briefings, assets, and approvals for campaigns.
- Support the Audience Campaigns Manager by creating assets and executing social media campaigns, aimed at building our audience base and promoting our proprietary content products, such as newsletters, reports, and podcasts.
- Assist the Community Manager in planning and executing the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery partner marketing and brand building and audience products (newsletters, podcasts, reports) campaigns across platforms.
- Provide dedicated social media support around our events ICE and IGb Live, as required by internal stakeholders.
- Analyse and report on social media content performance, tracking metrics such as views, engagement, and conversions.
- Utilise performance data to optimise ongoing partner marketing campaigns and in-house product promotions, enhancing engagement and reach.
Success Metrics
- Campaign Performance: Track, measure and achieve engagement and conversion targets on social media campaigns for both partner and brand content.
- Audience Growth: Contribute to tracking, measuring and achieving an increase in social media followers and engagement metrics across channels, supporting broader audience-building objectives.
- Content Optimistion: Continuously improve content based on performance insights, execute content testing, as required, to achieve incremental growth in engagement and conversion rates.
- Timeliness and Budget Compliance: Execute campaigns within established timelines and budgets, maintaining high standards in content delivery.
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Social Media competence with an understanding of social media channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter, and the key success factors that drive audience growth and engagement.
- Content planning: Strong planning and organisational skills, ability to problem-solve and improvise when required, ownership of the final outcomes.
- Content Creation Expertise: Proven ability to develop compelling and engaging digital content for social media platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and effective techniques for maximising engagement.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis abilities to assess and report on content performance, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and meet project deadlines.
