Summary

Events are a strategic pillar of Harborโ€™s Customer Growth Marketing programs to drive prospect, client, and firm brand awareness and lead generation. The Customer Growth Marketing (CGM) Specialist will work collaboratively across the Harbor Capital organization to organize and execute in-person and digital events, as well as event sponsorships. The candidate must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills with a focus on driving for results through robust execution of events.

The CGM Specialist will be responsible for building cutting-edge experiences as a preferred asset management partner to advisors across independent broker dealers, RIAs, and the Defined Contribution landscape as an essential element to Harborโ€™s success. This role will be responsible for engaging with senior executives, investment management partners, vendors, and the Distribution Salesforce to coordinate respective event planning, manage OneNote events hub, complete email campaigns, track and measure against KPIs, manage content reviews and Compliance processes, and execute on post-event deliverables. ย 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate project management needs across Customer Growth Marketing Team to help manage prioritization of events across marketing programs based on business goals

  • Maintain composure in a high-pressured environment with changing details to make informed decision in the best interest of the organization and business goals

  • Coordinate with event venues on all logistics, contract reviews, and continued relationship management

  • Develop and distribute invites, manage and track all confirmations and declines, and clearly communicate conference details to attendees

  • Manage development of registration page, pre- and post-event emails, social media posts with Customer Growth Marketing Team, Salesforce updates with Insights Team

  • Coordinate with other teams within Marketing to build program agendas, invites, event details and confirm speakers

  • Work closely with Sales to deliver regional events/sponsorships within territories

  • Work with internal conference attendees to manage all materials that need to be delivered to and from conferences (including booth, brochures, swag)

  • Event types include: single and multi-day conferences, roadshows, regional events, webinars, and sponsorships

  • Organize virtual events using On24 and Zoom, as well as third-party vendors

  • Work closely with Compliance for submission of content in partnership with Brand & Content Marketing

  • Manage conference follow-up activities including: feedback from attendees, thank you emails and importing data into Salesforce

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • 1-3 years industry experience, event marketing experience preferred

  • Job requires some travel, approximately 10-15%

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 (bonus eligible)
