Job Summary

As a Digital Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role on the International Marketing team at Perpetual Group. Those include Barrow Hanley, J O Hambro, Regnan, Trillium, and TSW.

You will bring familiarity with Content Management Systems, and be an active user of Optimizely, WordPress, and Webflow. You will ensure that our online presence is consistently engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with our marketing strategies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day website maintenance, including building new pages, updating content, and ensuring the site remains functional and aligned with marketing strategies for our five investment boutiques.

  • Regularly update website content (landing pages, blogs, product/service pages) to ensure it aligns with branding, SEO best practices, and the specific needs of our diverse client audiences.

  • Implement on-page SEO techniques (meta tags, keywords, alt text) and ensure the site adheres to technical SEO guidelines to improve organic traffic and search engine rankings.

  • Ensure that our website meets accessibility standards both from a functional perspective and content design.

  • Regularly check for broken links, load speed issues, and other website errors, ensuring all technical aspects (e.g., security updates) are addressed promptly.

  • Continuously improve the user experience by streamlining navigation, improving user journeys, and ensuring the site meets the needs of our audiences, particularly within the asset management sector.

  • Actively use Google Analytics to monitor website performance, assess user behavior, and make data-driven decisions for optimization and growth.

  • Establish reporting dashboards and models to use website performance, user insights, and other digital and campaign metrics to optimize and develop content and journeys, and to monitor the success of new improvements.

  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous optimization based on performance analytics and user insights, with a focus on asset management clients.

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive decision-making processes.

  • Partner closely with the marketing team to implement the digital strategy across websites, while having the confidence to challenge and suggest improvements if strategies don’t align with website goals or performance.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including distribution and compliance teams, to effectively collaborate on digital experience initiatives that align with business goals.

  • Learn and understand the nuances of our client audiences to tailor content and strategies effectively.

  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to ensure our digital marketing and website efforts remain innovative and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in website and CMS management, including managing agency relationships. Familiarity with Optimizely, Webflow, and/or WordPress is a plus.

  • Deep understanding of SEO strategies and curiosity about optimizing websites for AI tools.

  • Understanding of end-to-end customer journeys and delivering excellent, engaging user experiences.

  • Good understanding of the international regulatory environment (FCA, SEC, Consumer Duty, Greenwashing, GDPR).

  • Experience using GA4, monitoring and reporting on trends, and interpreting data for action.

  • Experience in project managing website development, including scoping, briefing, testing, and deployment.

  • Good understanding of accessibility standards for technical development and content design.

  • Financially astute, with the ability to contribute to setting budgets and overseeing spend.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to collaborate with partners across time zones, primarily, GMT, CST, EST, and BST.
