Position Overview:

 

LightBox is building the world’s leading commercial real estate information and technology platform and we are looking for a senior product marketer (Director, Product Marketing) to join our team. Do you enjoy defining innovative products and love creating a killer go-to-market strategy? As a Director of Product Marketing, you will be the hub of the relationship between product management, sales and our marketing team. Our game-changing data platform needs a great storyteller to explain the product benefits, work closely with customers, partners, industry analysts and sales. You will formulate data-driven decisions and contribute to our testing and growth team. You will partner with the brand and demand gen teams to drive TOFU and MOFU leads. You will be the product evangelist and will play an integral role in organizing product launches.

What you will do and achieve:

 

  • Research and define customer personas/segments. Develop all sales enablement collateral.
  • Collaborate with product management and sales to create engaging product demos.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Increase brand awareness and leads through partner alliances, CRM, online advertising, brand communications and media placement.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans for the products you support including key activities and budgets to support new customer acquisition.
  • Plan and lead the launches and marketing efforts of new products and releases of existing products and manage the cross-functional implementation and external promotion of new releases.
  • Act as a key thought leader for the products you support externally, including presentation engagements and written works. Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Manage three (3) direct reports being a player/coach for the Product Marketing team

Education

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related degree.

Experience

  • Must possess at least 6 years of product marketing experience.
  • Marketing for B2B SaaS companies. *Bonus for commercial real estate industries.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • MS Office skills proficiency (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Producing reports and analysis to measure marketing campaign results.

Key Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven success managing expectations of stakeholders and collaborating effectively with coworkers, partners and customers .
  • Successful history creating GTM strategies, messaging and positioning for multiple customer segments.
  • Shaping product roadmaps and user experiences through deep client understanding, actionable insights and valid recommendations.
  • Crafting compelling stories, collateral, and tools around our technical products and services.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, quantitative skills in market research.
  • A positive personality familiar with startups or scale-up environments.
  • Ability to represent LightBox at conferences.
  • Public speaking at conferences and interactions with industry analysts.
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies: marketing automation (Pardot), email marketing,  social media channels: LinkedIn, X, Google; content creation: Canva, Powerpoint, Camtasia; analytics: Google Analytics, SalesForce, SproutSocial
