We are seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to drive our market presence and accelerate pipeline growth. In this role, you'll be a strategic partner to our sales team, developing and executing events and multi-channel marketing programs that resonate with our multifaceted audience of engineers, FinOps professionals, and IT decision-makers. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy and drive meaningful impact at an early-stage startup.
Develop and execute a comprehensive offline and digital events marketing plan aligned with PointFive's brand pillars and revenue targets
Partner closely with sales leadership to design and implement marketing programs and digital and physical events that source and accelerate pipeline across the customer lifecycle
Ideate and execute ABM programs targeting high-value enterprise accounts
Create targeted content, events, and programs for each audience segment (Engineers, FinOps Professionals, IT Decision-Makers)
Continuously leverage data and analytics to optimize event performance, ensuring each activation builds upon previous learnings to deliver improved outcomes
Act as a key marketing contact for the sales team, participating in regular business reviews and strategy sessions
Collaborate with product marketing to translate technical capabilities into compelling event messaging
Collaborate with the content team to develop campaign collateral
4+ years of field marketing or demand generation experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in cloud infrastructure or enterprise software
Outstanding project management and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Willingness to travel as often as monthly
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital and in-person event marketing programs that drive pipeline and revenue growth
Proven track record of successful management and execution of in-person events and conferences - large and small, including budget management, vendor management, on-site conference management, and more
Experience marketing technical products to engineering and IT audiences
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with sales teams and technical stakeholders
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their associated buyer personas
Strong understanding of cloud technologies and the FinOps space
Experience with ABM strategies and execution
Understanding of engineering workflows and DevOps practices
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems, preferably SalesForce and HubSpot
Strong project management and prioritization skills
Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities
Data-driven approach to campaign optimization
Collaborative spirit and excellent stakeholder management abilities
