We’re on the hunt for a dynamic, results-driven Head of Performance Marketing to spearhead our digital traffic acquisition strategy. This pivotal leadership role encompasses biddable media, SEO, programmatic marketing, and partnerships, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future growth of our business.

 

As a senior leader, you’ll take charge of a high-performing team, look after the biggest budget in the business, manage cross-channel strategies and ensure every campaign delivers value and measurable success. We are looking for an individual who wants to make an impact and progress their career with support toward a Director position in the future.

  • Craft and execute a data-driven acquisition strategy across paid media (including PPC, paid social, and programmatic), SEO, partnerships, affiliates, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Build a high performing Digital acquisition team
  • Implement and oversee cutting-edge automation tools and bid management software to ensure optimal performance and scaling of campaigns.
  • Leverage data insights and advanced analytics to inform traffic acquisition decisions, improve ROI, and identify growth opportunities across channels.
  • Develop and deliver clear, impactful KPI reporting and insights on a weekly and monthly basis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proactively identify and seize opportunities to increase traffic volume, improve application quality, and boost CV registrations.
  • Partner with Product and Development teams to optimise technical infrastructure and introduce innovative tools to support digital acquisition.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a small but talented, multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement tailored growth and development plans for team members while identifying strategic hiring needs.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in modern digital marketing strategies and a deep understanding of tools, platforms, and trends shaping the industry in 2025 and beyond.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale digital acquisition strategies for a high-growth business, managing budgets of £10m+.
  • Expertise across biddable media, SEO, programmatic advertising, retargeting, partnerships, affiliates, and PPC.
  • Hands-on experience with automatic bid management software and programmatic ad displays is essential.
  • A strong grasp of the latest marketing tech stacks and organic traffic performance optimisation.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with a data-driven mindset and experience using BI tools and meta-search software.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying innovative growth opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams while diving into operational details with credibility and precision.
  • Experience of working in a 2-sided marketplace is essential
  • SEO experience and examples of positive impact would be a bonus.
