This role will be a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract starting in July 2025 and will be paid London living wage.
We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing intern to join our EMEA Theatrical Licensees team here in London. The department handles and supervises the distribution and marketing strategy for over 30 sub-distributing markets across EMEA.
This is an outstanding opportunity to gain impressive experience in a small and dynamic team in a growing international region who are responsible for the regional strategy and campaign implementation for 25+ theatrical titles a year!
As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of a theatrical campaign and contribute ideas that could be implemented across a number of markets.
What you'll do:
Play a part in the collation of campaign ideas from different territories and assemble regional presentations.
Contribute campaign ideas in brainstorming sessions
Collect videos/photos/printscreens for campaign executions and help to assemble report presentations for HO
Use your creative flair to help craft PowerPoint presentations for internal and external meetings
Assist with creating mock ups for the ideas presentations using softwares such as Photoshop
Collect data from the local teams to inform marketing strategy
Compile online trailer reactions and build short reports for internal distribution
Review creative in departmental meetings
Be exposed to high level strategy discussions
Work alongside the line manager on ad hoc projects collaborating closely with both the local teams, HO teams and external agencies
Oversee and maintain the organisation of the departmental SharePoint/Teams channel
Be responsible for updating contact lists and circulating them internally and externally
After training, use internal finance systems including SAP to set up new vendors, raise POs and manage the PO log
Use the expense's system to make expenses reports for the marketing team senior members
Assist with the organization of conferences
Coordinate internal screenings, keep minutes in meetings and assist with other administrative tasks as (i.e. booking meeting rooms and restaurants etc)
What you have:
Ideally a Degree in Marketing, Film or Communication or equivalent
Outstanding organizational skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and great aesthetics!
Good operational knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
An expert in Photoshop and other editing tools are also desirable
Excellent writing skills with first class attention to detail
Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence speaking to internal and external stakeholders.
Bring a can do attitude and able to use initiative when working individually as well as in the team.
Self-motivated team player and thoughtful facilitator
Motivated to develop and succeed in Marketing, especially within the Entertainment industry.
Ability to coordinate and work in a high-paced and dynamic environment
Work wit discretion and confidentiality at all times
Last but NOT least, love for films (Sony Films are a plus!)
Have a creative mind and flair
Ideally are a regular user of social media, can confidently use different platforms and keep up with the latest trends.
An understanding of media metrics is not vital but would be a plus!
What you'll learn:

Contribute ideas that could be implemented across a number of markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Learn about the use of data in marketing strategy
Be exposed to the cultural nuances of over 30 sub-distributing markets across EMEA and interact with the local teams gaining Intl experience on film marketing.
Work on some of the most anticipated upcoming films!
