Description

Digital Lifecyle Marketing Manager

Do you want to work in recreational boating? Join this fun industry and help spread the word about boating and life on the water. The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is the principal trade association in the U.S. and Canada for manufacturers of recreational boats and marine products used by millions of boaters. The association serves its members by improving the business environment for recreational boating including providing domestic and international sales and marketing opportunities, reducing unnecessary government regulation, decreasing the cost of doing business, and helping grow boating participation.

Our Core Values ā€“ Consumer Focus, Collaborate, Be Curious, Respect & Serve Others

NMMA has a unique opportunity for a Digital Lifecycle Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing a roadmap of lifecycle marketing initiatives aimed at activation, engagement, and retention. You will be responsible for setting up campaigns, measuring results, and socializing learnings.

This role is for someone who is heavily detail oriented, a technology lover and a digital first thinker who can work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate must be willing to work cross-functionally, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills. This person is an analytical thinker with a passion for digging into the details, using results and data to drive decision making. The successful candidate will help support the NMMAs digital transformation leveraging existing and emerging marketing technology.

At NMMA, we connect consumers with the recreational boating industry through our Discover Boating campaign and our Boat Shows. We also serve our members and industry audience through Government Relations, Business Intelligence and Certification divisions. This role will help support our digital strategy and execution to reach these target audiences and expand to new heights. The day-to-day activities are varied and involve collaboration with numerous internal stakeholder groups such as Web, PR, Communications, Marketing, Membership, Sales, Sponsorship and Operations. We leverage an agile approach to our web development and deploy omni-channel marketing campaigns across several mediums.

This role will report to the Director of Digital Marketing and be a member of the Marketing Team.

  • Support Digital Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing and team members on all marketing projects, including Boat Shows, Discover Boating campaigns, NMMA.org and NMMA.CA websites, and industry B2B marketing efforts.

  • Email Deliverability & Analytics Champion: Partner with our email vendor to manage the relationship and optimize delivery. Analyze and report email campaign performance metrics to stakeholders, using data insights to constantly improve future campaigns.
  • Reports & Presentations: Asist with building out informative presentations to both external and internal stakeholders, occasionally presenting yourself to these stakeholders.
  • Content Management and Conversion Optimization: Assist with content management for websites using our custom-built CMS and Drupal. This includes making optimizations to our Boat Show websites to sell tickets and drive conversions.
  • Cross Department Collaboration ā€“ work across departments including Boat Shows, Certification, NMMA Corporate, Canada to execute digital tasks.
  • Digital Trend Spotter & Innovator: Proactively monitor emerging trends in online marketing, technology, and the digital landscape. Bring innovative ideas to the team and develop strategies to leverage them.
