GENERAL SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Manager, Marketing Operations is to manage the development and implementation of digital creatives and marketing campaigns for Preferred Travel Group (PTG). This role will be responsible for shaping the project roadmap and managing the various timelines from campaign ideation to execution. In coordination with the project owners, they will be responsible for clearly defining business objectives, allocating resources, and organizing the efforts of the team. Will partner with external agencies where applicable in communicating campaign initiatives, strategies, and audience to manage scope of deliverables. The Manager, Marketing Operations will leverage business insights, research, and campaign results to provide actionable input for the creative and strategic direction of ongoing projects to campaign business owners. Will be an active contributor to the digital creative process by looking for ongoing improvements and seeking feedback from key stakeholders. 

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations the Manager, Marketing Operations shall liaise with multiple internal departments such as, creative services, corporate communications, public relations, business development, regional executive vice presidents, associated Preferred Travel Group brand teams, sales to support their respective activities, and liaise with digital agencies as needed. There is also regular interaction with member hotels and their representatives. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the project management process of digital creatives and campaigns, creating custom timelines, briefs, and managing team’s queue of projects
  • Enhance department and organization by accepting ownership for new and unique requests; exploring opportunities to add value to marketing content
  • Make recommendations and define marketing strategies to continuously refine the marketing mix to drive business results
  • Monitor and communicate campaign status, ensure campaign implementation follows organizational brand guidelines, and adjust as needed to address gaps and optimize performance 
  • Continuously assess and report on the results of completed campaigns and campaign process and implement improvements where necessary
  • Improve new campaigns using data and feedback from existing and previous projects
  • Train talent on project management platforms to ensure successful procedure and implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Lead kickoff calls, project status calls, weekly team calls, and one-on-ones with business owners and production team members 
  • Conduct campaign material reviews and quality assurance procedures to ensure all creatives are accurate and within scope
  • Assist in other eCommerce related projects as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of campaign management experience is required 
  • Strong communication, relationship, project, time management, and analytical skills 
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) 
  • Experience with project management software, Asana is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of campaigns and projects simultaneously 
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication studies or a related major is preferred 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Hybrid based out of a Preferred Travel Group office (Newport Beach, CA; NYC, Chicago, or Washington DC). Expected to work in the office 2-3 days a week. Travel up to 5% of time as appropriate for training, conferences and business meetings to support the overall expectation of the position.

Salary range: USD $70,000-85,000 annually; actual compensation within this range will be determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise.
