Job Description:

The Marketing Automation Manager is the primary administrator responsible for implementation of the firm’s marketing automation platform (Eloqua). The ideal candidate for this position must have deep experience with the Eloqua platform and an understanding of CRM software (Salesforce). The position requires strong understanding of technology integrations and process flow between Eloqua and other systems. The Marketing Automation Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to understand end-to-end business requirements, plan technical builds, and ensure their successful implementation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end email campaigns for strategic marketing initiatives including campaign template creation, integrations to and from event registration platforms (both inside and outside of the primary marketing automation platform), campaign member information, and data flow back to CRM (Salesforce) ​
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect and translate business requirements into technical requirements; design, test, and implement end-to-end solutions in Eloqua based on business requirements 
  • Maintain and enhance Eloqua programs, lead scoring, data integrations, and platform configurations to support evolving business needs 
  • Proactively monitor data integrations and performance, maintain data hygiene, and address errors as necessary 
  • Document data objects, data flows and end-to-end processes that involve Eloqua and pushing data into other internal firm systems (e.g., unsubscribe process within Eloqua - where and what data gets pushed into another system) 
  • Works closely with Marketing Automation Specialist to troubleshoot and provide day-to-day Eloqua support for marketing campaigns 
  • Evaluate, recommend and implement best practices and process improvements for projects involving digital assets (email campaigns, form creation, landing pages, preference center, data flow and quality, etc.) 
  • Stay updated on Eloqua system updates and identify solutions to help improve the platform, data processes, and user experience. Collaborate with Technology Operations team members on Eloqua platform roadmap 
  • Provide technical support, training, feedback, guidance, and expertise to technology operations users and business end users 
  • Apply governmental compliance policies and regulations (GDPR, DPIA, CASL, CCPA, etc.) 
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required 

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation platforms, preferably with Eloqua 
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, preferably with Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

     Target Hiring Range $107,000 - $165,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
