Clever is looking for an experienced edtech consultant to accelerate expand reach and growth of Clever amongst Canadian boards and schools. In this role you’ll recommend and advise the content and channel strategy for Clever’s identity and security products for Canadian schools. This collaborative, creative role will work directly with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, International. 

Location: Canada-based (remote)
Contract: 6 months (1-2 days per week)
Work rights: Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Market intelligence and research

  • Share trends and insights on the Canadian education market 
  • Recommend top-of-funnel and thought leadership content that drives leads 

Content ideas and guidance

  • Propose compelling content (i.e. blog posts, whitepaper) that addresses Canada educator/ IT audience pain points 
  • Identify opportunities for community engagement, media exposure, and public relations.

Support lead generation

  • Recommend channel plans that amplify content to generate leads and expand reach across multiple channels.
  • Partner with product marketing to localize US content and campaigns, ensuring relevance to the Canadian audience.

WHAT WE"RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Deep understanding of Canadian education market dynamics
  • Experience with creating edtech or security content for Canadian schools
  • Previous experience in IT at a Canadian board
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is required for this role as it involves working with clients or stakeholders predominantly outside Quebec. 

Pay Transparency: The monthly salary cash compensation for this role is $3,500 CAD. All final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise.
