This is a hybrid role - 3 days in the office (City of London location) and 2 days working from home per week with flex.
Role Purpose:
The Marketing & Events Executive will provide administrative support to the marketing team. They will support the Lending teams, Savings and Deposits, Group and other stakeholder groups such as HR within United Trust Bank (UTB) with a range of events, marketing communication campaigns and coordination of activities. They will support the financial administration and help ensure financial efficiency within the Marketing Department.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing finance including invoice processing, invoice log, cost allocation, budget setting process, reconciliation, analysis, reporting, liaising with Finance and ensure financial efficiency within the marketing department.
- Delivery of events including administration, planning and implementation of a wide range of activities to ensure deadline are met, colleagues are fully briefed and events run smoothly.
- Co-ordination of marketing initiatives which include: Advertising and Email Marketing Campaigns / Newsletters, surveys, case studies and press releases / UTB website and social media / Branded merchandise and corporate gifts
- Maintain marketing job list and liaising on outstanding items from UTB internal or external agency
- Manage and traffic financial promotions in accordance with UTB’s Compliance and sign-off procedures
Skills and Experience sought:
- Previous marketing experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Banking - desirable but not mandatory
- Liaising with key stakeholders such as Finance and HR
- Ability to organise and deliver to tight deadlines
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Ability to think and plan ahead
- Ability to liaise with external agencies and ensure that they are working within budget and meeting deadlines
- Good eye for detail including proofreading
- Competent on social media
- Knowledge of Internal Communications
- Flexible approach and “can do” mindset
- Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Intermediate Excel skills level
- Basic video skills (simple video capture and editing for social media) desirable but not mandatory
