About the Role

Aprimo is currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing department. This intern will collaborate with our demand generation and marketing teams in all stages of our campaign execution process. 

The Marketing Intern will help with executing and managing a variety of campaigns which include conducting SEO and market research, monitoring social and advertising platforms, and crafting actionable insights. After campaign execution, this intern will conduct thorough analysis and report on all outcomes. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of current marketing techniques/trends and social media platforms.

Successfully managing projects will require excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills, as well as, the ability to operate within a global team. As this role requires working with employees across multiple departments, this intern must have the mentality of a team player.

The Marketing Intern works within the Global Marketing Department and reports to the Digital Strategy Manager; collaborating across the Marketing Organization working closely and interfacing with the Brand Experience Team, (including Copywriters and Graphic Designers), Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Alliance Marketing, Demand Generation driving forward projects to be delivered around the world!

Description:

•          Responsible for advertising launch and management of campaigns

•          Social media copy creation, scheduling social posts and tracking performance metrics

•          Perform research on B2B Social Media best practices and trends, staying up-to-date with the industry

•          Conduct SEO and competitive research. Implement findings into emails, blogs, website, and other copy efforts

•          Perform analysis on digital and content performance metrics

•          Overall campaign management and reporting across all digital efforts

•          Document step-by-step technical processes for marketing maintenance   and tracking

•          Deliver projects successfully, and on time with quality solutions

•          Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

•          Shadow multiple marketing positions and train in a variety of marketing tasks

 
Requirements:

  • College junior or senior preferred majoring in business or related field
  • Experience managing organizational projects
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasker – ability to effectively work on several projects at once
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Experience in Marketo, Uberflip, or Salesforce is a plus


Physical Requirements:

  1. Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of time
  2. Must be able to move 50% of time
  3. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion
  4. The worker is required to have close visual awareness to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  5. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels
  6. Must be able to convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
  7. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
