The Role: Marketing Strategist

This is your opportunity to play a central role in shaping the campaigns that drive our clients’ success. As a Marketing Strategist, you’ll lead the ideation, creation, and execution of comprehensive, cross-channel strategies that captivate audiences and deliver measurable results. You’ll champion AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, personalise campaigns, and maximise impact without compromising quality.

Collaborating with our creative, technical, email, and content delivery teams, you’ll turn ideas into actionable campaigns—on time, on-brand, and on point. Your work will elevate content experiences, setting a new standard for excellence in the industries we serve.

What You’ll Be Doing:Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop innovative, data-driven marketing strategies tailored to client goals.
  • Bring big ideas to life—taking campaigns from ideation to seamless execution.
  • Use AI and predictive analytics to optimise content strategies, uncover insights, and anticipate trends.


Creative Vision:

  • Build campaigns that inspire—balancing creative flair with business results.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure campaigns are on-brand, engaging, and visually powerful.


AI & Automation Integration:

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to automate content creation, workflows, and performance reporting.
  • Drive personalisation at scale, ensuring content resonates locally and globally.


Content Localisation & Execution:

  • Lead the development of campaign calendars and oversee timely, high-quality content delivery.
  • Localise content for global audiences—ensuring cultural relevance and consistency.


Performance & Innovation:

  • Use analytics to track KPIs, report on campaign success, and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, positioning Verse as a thought leader in content innovation.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy, ideally within hospitality, leisure, tourism, or for enterprise clients.
  • Proven expertise in omnichannel content marketing across social, web, email, SEO, and paid media.
  • Experience localising content at scale for global brands, with an eye for cultural nuance and audience relevance.
  • A strong grasp of SEO, content optimisation, and the role of content in driving organic growth.
  • Familiarity with marketing AI and automation tools like Make, Zapier, HubSpot, SEMrush, and content generation platforms (ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly).
  • A data-driven mindset, with a knack for turning insights into strategy and results.
  • Exceptional client communication skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders.
  • A balance of creative thinking and strategic focus, ensuring campaigns are bold, impactful, and measurable.


Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with paid media campaigns and aligning content with paid strategies.
  • Technical know-how: familiarity with CMS platforms, email tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp), and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Leadership & mentorship experience, helping guide junior team members to success.
