Position Summary

Contribute to and support the functions of the Product Marketing team, with a focus on PowerPoint presentations and other formats, to produce product collateral, sales ideas, fact sheets, webinars, commentaries, and white papers, etc. Become subject matter expert on product suite across Institutional and Intermediary channels. Work with a range of internal constituencies and service providers, including Distribution, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Data Analytics, and other marketing teams. As directed, also provide editorial and creative support to other groups within the Marketing Department and the rest of the firm.

This position reports to the Head of Product Marketing.

 

The position is located in New York.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conceive, create, and maintain engaging presentation materials, sales ideas, value-add programs, and other communication concepts, with compelling content and visuals, for executives, investment teams, sales and client service
  • To be effective in this function, develop deep understanding of objectives, returns, and portfolio characteristics of Firm’s suite of strategies and products (fixed income, equity, alternatives)
  • Partner with Distribution and Portfolio Management in support of client meetings with appropriate marketing resources
  • Ongoing participation in firm’s monthly and quarterly performance updates, regulatory materials, and other ad-hoc material
  • Contribute to the effort to further automate production and maintenance of materials
  • Support eMarketing and Digital team efforts for initiatives related to email campaigns and web content production and management
  • Work in tandem with the firm’s Compliance department to ensure that all materials meet FINRA and SEC regulatory guidelines
  • Provide writing and editing support, as needed, for marketing materials including promotional materials and website content
  • Responsible for development and upkeep of high quality, engaging marketing materials, both print and digital, across active strategies (fixed income, equity, alternatives)
  • Manage the timely updating of fund communications and sales presentation materials while constantly identifying opportunities for process and content enhancement
  • Work proactively to meet deadlines in fast-paced and dynamic environment that relies heavily on cross functional interaction to maximize marketing and sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product marketing for asset management, financial services industry
  • Experience in power point presentation production
  • Familiarity with data and analytical concepts
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to evolving project needs, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least two years’ experience in marketing for asset management
  • Proficiency in the use of office computer programs including power point and MS Office Suite
  • Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, inclusiveness, and trustworthiness

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $120,000 and $130,000.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

 

 Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
