Our client is seeking a Regional Marketing Specialist to support our Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia offices. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Regional Marketing Manager and on the ground with our Office Managing Partners (OMP) to develop the strategic direction of the office and ensure that this direction aligns with and complements Our client’s firm-wide and practice-specific marketing efforts. The Regional Marketing Specialist will also provide leadership to, and coordination of, Our client’s marketing and public relations efforts in Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia. Ideal candidate will be located in DC, New York or Philadelphia office.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as marketing lead to assigned offices
- Lead the development of a local marketing strategy in partnership with the Office Managing Partner (OMP) and Senior Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) that supports the OMP-C strategy
- Lead the development and implementation of high-level partnering relationships with local professional organizations, industry associations and educational institutions to identify leadership positions, speaking and conference presentation opportunities and sources of referral for attorneys
- Coordinate event details including collecting event RSVPs and sending attorney updates, printing name tags, staffing registration table, collecting/assembling event handout materials, post-event follow-up, and tracking lead generation and ROI, tracking event attendance in firm CRM
- Coordinate office and community engagement events (social and sporting) and sponsorships that will generate leads and partnerships with attorneys
- Work closely with the events team across assigned offices to maintain consistent and cohesive marketing events/sponsorship strategy
- Partner with the Marketing team on invitation design, targeted list development, client communications, and event promotion such as social media engagement (taking event pictures, attaining photo releases)
- Have a deep understanding of each target practice in assigned market(s) and the competitive position, including knowing top clients and prospective clients
- Lead local surveys and submissions
- Data entry for purposes of ROI and relationship management
- Assist with the marketing budget for the office, developing a local marketing strategy in partnership with the Office Managing Partner and Regional Marketing Manager, including processing invoices, reconciling expenses, etc.
- Keep abreast of both legal and business markets and “best practices” in legal marketing
- Attend regular shareholder and committee meetings to ensure consistent and effective communication on issues and provide support for opportunities relating to marketing and brand awareness
- Pitch and proposal support (alongside Department BD Support) including proficient utilization of the firm’s technology and marketing systems to manage and incorporate optimal processes and support of Department Marketing goals
- Monitor the Firm’s external website including office pages and attorney bios, working closely with Department Marketing team on practice group and industry page updates
- Lead the planning and execution of all office summer associate events and manage to the prescribed budget
- Collaborate with other departments on firmwide initiatives (Our client PROUD, Alumni Program, Client Feedback Program)
- Work closely with Department Marketing team to co-manage new attorney onboarding activities (bios, headshots, PR, marketing orientation, etc.) to facilitate a smooth transition
- Coordinate internal events with support of local OA’s and LAA’s to promote company culture and identify opportunities to highlight on social media
- Employees approved for flexible work arrangements are expected to be available and maintain a practice of reliable, consistent attendance at all times during the employees scheduled work shift including, but not limited to, Jabber/instant message, Zoom, email and voicemail, and by phone.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Law Firm Experience (preferred)
- Minimum (3-5) years’ experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm event coordinator role
- Ability to work outside of regular office hours, and a flexible schedule and means to travel as needed
- Takes ownership of firm-wide strategic initiatives as assigned

- Demonstrated ability to generate a range of solutions that meet goals and identify the benefits, costs and risks associated with each solution
