Role and Responsibilities
The Director of Sales and Marketing is accountable for creating and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans that propel the company forward. This involves setting realistic targets, allocating resources effectively, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. The Director's goal is to drive revenue growth, enhance brand reputation, and establish the company as a market leader. Independently identify, develop, and close new large enterprise opportunities within the territory across multiple verticals.
- Providing sales and marketing teams with quantifiable, realistic goals
- Making both short- and long-term plans to increase revenue
- Analyzing competitors and the market to guide strategy modifications
- Evaluating the return on investment for sales and marketing initiatives
- Developing and managing marketing and sales budgets
- Conduct joint-training sessions between marketing and sales teams to enhance collaboration and understanding
- Establish a successful collaboration between the sales and marketing team by providing team-bonding opportunities for the employees to build understanding at the ground level.
- Ensure both teams are working together to develop customer profile based on understanding the needs, pain points, and buying behaviors to tailor customer communication.
- Performing in-depth market research to find trends and opportunities
- Using data to guide strategy modifications and decision-making
- Collaborating with product teams to align offerings with market demand
- Providing input on pricing strategies and product positioning
- Identifying new market opportunities for existing products or services
- Reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue growth
- Meeting with key clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Attending industry events and conferences to network and build beneficial relationships
- Fostering partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth
- Reviewing sales pitches and presentations to ensure consistency and effectiveness
- Providing input on marketing campaigns to ensure they meet business objectives
- Ensuring brand consistency across all channels, including social media, advertising, and content marketing
- Understand and adapt to EZ Blockchain's ongoing product and services developments
- Ensure that our customers receive world class sales and customer service

- Proficiency in CRM software and marketing automation tools

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or related field
- Master’s degree in Marketing or Sales preferred.
- 10-15 years in marketing or sales position with 5-7 in management.
