ABOUT THE ROLE 🤹‍♀️
The Short Version:
You'll be responsible for acquiring new cardholders efficiently. You will test new channels to grow the program and help shape the growth team along the way.
The Long Version:
The Card team is in its early stages. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the team's growth strategy. You will execute, analyze, and optimize all things digital (paid social, paid search, affiliates, ad networks, etc) for the Rocket Card. On top of that, you will be a thought leader in growth data discovery, go-to-market strategy, creative strategy, growth engineering/data partnerships, and challenging the media-buying status quo. We’re on a mission to grow efficiently and responsibly; we want someone who is ready to build and scale a successful growth team.
With the freedom to prioritize your own projects, we're looking for someone who can make an impact without needing extensive structure or direction.Â
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the strategy and execution of Rocket Card’s digital user acquisition program to rapidly expand our scale at efficiency (paid social, paid search, affiliates, etc).
- Manage and allocate the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently to achieve acquisition goals. Regularly report and optimize budget allocation to meet CAC goals.
- Use advanced analytics and A/B testing to optimize campaigns for efficiency and performance. Meticulously analyze the conversion event and cost funnel, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the performance in each digital vertical.
- Expand our portfolio of digital acquisition channels with fearless testing, optimization, and reporting. Constantly research and recommend opportunities for scale.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Creative, Data, Engineering, Product, and CRM to align marketing strategies with project development and company goals. In addition, collaborate on growth experiments and initiatives that drive efficient conversions in ways we haven’t tested before.
- Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Establish yourself as the expert by staying up to date on industry trends and identifying first to market opportunities.Â
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH 🤝
You’ll work closely with the Card creative team and the director of growth for Card.
ABOUT YOU 🦄
- 6+ years executing paid digital campaigns (paid social, paid search, affiliates, etc)
- Data wizard with a deep analytical background in growth KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, Contribution to ROAS, etc) and the ability to translate learnings into actionable strategy
- Experience with products that:
- Have a longer consideration time like a credit card
- Have a credit rating requirement
- Are highly regulated
- Constantly challenging the status quo, you find yourself asking pivotal questions, and you turn to existing data or launch experiments to answer them
- Insatiable curiosity. You find yourself constantly asking questions to identify and improve upon every aspect of the channels you manage.
- Advanced Excel and/or SQL user—bonus points for experience in Looker
- You have an owner’s mindset—you don’t shy away from the hard stuff, and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, even if it’s “not your job”
- You love research. You enjoy diving deep into consumer research and have experience doing competitor research.Â

Additional information: Salary range of $140,000 - $165,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
