Senior Marketing Associate (Contract-To-Hire)
Role Overview
As the Senior Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Raise for Good’s marketing efforts. You’ll work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to drive impactful campaigns, execute marketing initiatives, curate thought leadership, and craft high-quality content across various platforms. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing engagement, building brand authority, and supporting the growth of Raise for Good. This is a dynamic role that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to execute with a high level of precision and organization across multiple projects.
Scope of Work
Content Creation & Marketing
• LinkedIn Content Strategy and Execution: Develop and publish engaging posts, articles, and updates that reflect Raise for Good’s expertise and mission, growing our digital presence and engagement.
• Job Roundups: Curate and share a weekly list of social impact job opportunities to expand our network and foster community connections.
• Newsletters & Roundups: Research and compile weekly news roundups featuring industry trends, client highlights, and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Case Studies: Collaborate with internal teams and graphic designers to create, write and project manage case studies that highlight the success and impact of Raise for Good’s work.
• Event Marketing: Plan and execute promotional strategies for community events (virtual and or in person), including creating marketing materials, managing logistics, and coordinating communications.
• Copywriting: Write clear, engaging copy for campaigns, email outreach, and brand messaging across multiple platforms.
Research & Analysis
• Market Research: Conduct competitive and landscape analyses to uncover opportunities, inform strategy, and provide actionable recommendations for Raise for Good and its clients.
• Client Insights: Deliver tailored research to support client needs, including trends, market conditions, and growth strategies.
Collaboration & Strategy
• Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to align messaging and strategy across campaigns.
• Support branding efforts for Raise for Good and its clients, ensuring consistency and creativity in all materials.
• Continuously track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Expertise
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in:
• Copywriting: Creating engaging and persuasive content for various channels.
• Social Media & Email Marketing: Managing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
• Project Management: Organizing and executing multiple projects on time and within scope.
• Creative Strategy: Developing innovative marketing approaches tailored to diverse audiences.
• Graphic Design Tools: Proficiency in Canva or similar design platforms.
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or similar video editing software.
• Understanding of the social impact landscape and nonprofit marketing is a plus.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred, remote (located in the United States)
Contract type: Independent Contractor (1099-NEC), with opportunity for future Full-Time employment
Availability: 30 hours per week (on average)
Anticipated Start date: February 14, 2025
Compensation: $40-45 per hour
