Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing Generalist within the Communications and Branding team. This individual will manage projects and marketing operations from various practice groups and digital avenues and ensure that all projects follow the firm’s branding and legal guidelines as well as work actively on several key projects for the team. This role works closely with the communications and branding team leadership. The successful candidate will be a strategic and proactive project manager with excellent communication skills, capable of tracking and managing multiple projects with varying timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management and Marketing Operations

  • Vet and intake all projects submitted to the communications and branding team
  • Collaborate with industry/service/geography marketers to provide advice on communications best practices and ensure submissions are in compliance with tax, assurance, and other verticals of approval
  • Manage timelines and due dates while tracking progress of projects and tasks within the project management system
  • Improve marketing operations and  project management system with external vendors by balancing the needs of the communications team and the marketing team at large
  • Train users on the project management system, help them organize project submissions, and troubleshoot any issues within the system

General Communications

  • Work closely with communications and branding team leadership to execute important firm announcements across website, social, and email in a timely manner
  • Serve as a key liaison for marketers to the communications and branding team
  • Work as key coordinator and project manager for marketers and communications and branding teams.

Social Media & Website Management

  • Update and maintain website based on latest firm information, legal language, and branding guidelines
  • Work with external vendor on improving website user experience, troubleshooting bugs, and updating visual aesthetics
  • Check social media platforms for community interactions and engage with appropriate posts to boost firm visibility

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
  • 2-4 years of professional, relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in project management, marketing operations, marketing communications, or a related field, preferably in a middle-market or large, dynamic organization
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven experience in website maintenance experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage expectations with different stakeholders such as internal team members and partners/directors.
  • A creative disposition; someone who enjoys solving challenges in novel ways and applying ideas from different disciplines and settings to the task at hand
  •  Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  •  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  •  High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing operations tools (Marketo, Sprout, website platforms, etc.)
  • Copyediting experience preferred
