Description

 

Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of the Organization’s sales marketing

strategies. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing advanced 

reservation strategies that boost restaurant reservations across multiple channels. Oversees 

development and implementation of support materials and services for all areas of marketing, 

communications, and public relations. A key factor of this role is directly converting marketing 

efforts to increased restaurant revenue.

This role will integrate with all departments, and hold responsibilities which include:

Finance

- Implement strategic sales objectives from plan to close by forecasting and developing annual 

sales regions and expected volumes and profits for existing concepts and/or new launches.

- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer 

base

- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/ public relations 

program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance.

-Maintain sales volume by tracking category-specific landscapes, trends, purchasing power, 

consumers’ habits, and preferences of prospective clients.

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets and 

increase market share for our restaurants.

Public Relations

- Arrange special tastings or previews for influencers to share their experiences.

- Encourage user-generated content (UGC) campaigns to boost brand visibility.

Social Media/Digital Strategy

- Stay up to date with marketing/hospitality trends, local markets, and best practices

- Build a unified dashboard that consolidates data from OpenTable, Resy, the restaurant’s website, 

and CRM for real-time insights into customer behavior and reservation trends.

- Use predictive analytics to anticipate demand and personalize promotions, inventory, and 

staffing.

- Implement A/B testing across channels to identify effective campaigns, booking page designs, and 

promotional messages.

- Optimize hyper-local SEO content around neighborhood landmarks and employ structured

data markup to feature menus, hours, and reservation times prominently.

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and 

Moz.

- Optimize meta tags, headers, content, and images for SEO purposes.

- Implement and optimize SEM campaigns using Google Ads, retargeting ads, and geo-targeted 

ads.

- Monitor campaign performance, A/B test ad copy, and adjust budgets based on ROI.

- Integrate an AI chatbot on the website to assist with FAQs, reservation requests, and 

personalized dining suggestions.

- Tailor emails with exclusive offers like discounts or VIP invites based on customer 

preferences.

- Develop a loyalty app that provides personalized rewards, event updates, and seamless 

booking.

Operational

- Regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinates and oversees this activity. Monitor 

trends.

- Manage project development from beginning to end, plan and schedule project timelines, elaborate 

and respect a budget, hold, and control the Masterplan.

- Work hand in hand with the Operations team to coordinate all the subjects.

- Act as an internal consultant to bring attention and solutions to institutional 

priorities.

- Ensure all marketing guidelines are respected and implemented at a local level and that the brand 

lives up to its quality standard on all touch points.

- Manage hand-in-hand with the local team: General Manager and the Communications & Marketing 

coordinator.

- Plan and manage content and production within time limits maintaining constant communication with 

store level leadership.

Experiential

- Organize virtual cooking classes, chef Q&As, or tastings with exclusive reservation spots and 

kits.

- Plan hybrid events that combine physical and virtual participation to expand reach.

- Develop and execute strategies for cause-related marketing and special events.

General

- Deploy marketing & communication strategies within organizational guidelines and to the highest 

standards while having a luxury hospitality-oriented approach.

- Translate strategy into actionable and comprehensive goals to grow performance depending on the 

department’s functions and operations (client acquisition, branding, partnership, market position, 

communications, effectiveness) in line with the company’s DNA.

- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service and communication

-  Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, communications and public relations, 

not-for-profit management, and governance, and the specific business of the Organization and use 

this information to help the Organization operate with initiative and

innovation.

Requirements

 - Understanding of high-end customer service standards and a knowledge of luxury hospitality  industry

 - Effective communication with the ability to communicate across all levels effectively 

- A deep understanding of refined luxury aesthetics 

- Attention to details and customer needs; Guest-oriented and service-minded   

- Fluent level or native English, other languages, particularly French are a plus, as is  multilingual capacities 

- Be autonomous and proactive 

- Team spirit, motivation, rigor, and organization in the work process 

- Adaptability and flexibility at work Overall, your ability to create a culture of engagement and service excellence will be key to this  role, along with your aspiration to grow and support the Bagatelle brand.   


Qualifications: 

-Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA  preferred.

- Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality industry, with  at least ten years of experience. 

- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, particularly  within the restaurant sector. 

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport  and influence stakeholders at all levels. 

- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing  campaigns and solutions. 

- Expert proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM software, social media management, and analytics tools. 

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions. 

- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. 

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

Salary Description
90-100k depending on experience
