ROLE SUMMARY

The  US Migraine IDN & Market Expansion Marketing Director c olleague will be the marketing lead for the US Health System and for market expansion, identifying and applying insights to lead the strategy and tactical development of initiatives, tools and resources to support KAM aligned accounts and to elevate the interest, acumen, and outcomes for Primary Care HCP’s. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally to expand the migraine market, improve the lives of people with migraine while also enhancing Nurtec ODT and Zavzpret performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The  US Migraine IDN & Market Expansion Marketing Director  will be responsible for initiatives essential to the US Health Systems uptake, prioritization of migraine care, CGRPs adoption, Primary Care expansion, and Pfizer’s related products adoption.  The colleague will ensure KADs, and the Pfizer Integrated Account Teams (IAT) are equipped with the tools to advance migraine market expansion and brand development. Additionally, the colleague will lead the efforts to address the most relevant barriers for CGRPs adoption with PCPs.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the US Marketing teams and the IM KAM organization (ACE, HIT and KAD), proactively identify new initiatives, tools and resources needed, follow through execution of current plans, and assess areas of improvement. And lead the Integrated Planning Team.
  • Work with cross-functional teams – Market Shaping, Brand teams, Access Marketing, KAD, and Field Based Medical – and agencies to develop new tactics focused on migraine expansion. And align consistency across materials with other migraine marketeers.
  • Generate actionable insights into the patient journey and unmet needs of patients, HCPs, and Health System Leaders across the patient journey.
  • Develop key collaborations and strategic partnerships with US-based Health System stakeholders to advance Migraine Market Shaping initiatives.
  • Develop data generation collaborations projects with IDN’s to accelerate health system migraine prioritization. Generate data to quantify the costs of not prioritizing migraine, demonstrate the value of a standardized approach to migraine in a health system, and the value of CGRPs.
  • Develop targeted initiatives to increase primary care adoption of CGRP’s and brand development.
  • Review performance against specified goals and KPIs and identifying areas of improvement and acceleration.
  • Be the KAM POA Lead for the marketing team, developing POA key imperatives, resources, collaborating with KAM colleagues to create training and workshop tools and other market expansion tactics.
  • Measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learnings, insights, and to drive improvement. Proactively tracks and communicates the IM KAM accounts performance to the marketing team.
  • Manage the IDN agency of record and other project partners, ensuring adherence to the scope of work, timelines and budget.
  • Manages and tracks the IDN & Market Expansion marketing budget and is the budget Captain for Migraine Market Shaping Team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of the US healthcare market required
  • Ability to quickly grasp and understand Health System landscape and to connect with their main stakeholders
  • Ability to work with and manage stakeholders and organizations as part of cross functional PFE team
  • Demonstrated initiative, strong problem solving, decision making and leadership skills
  • Strong strategic skills, with the ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level
  • Strong business acumen & negotiation skills and ability to effectively lead and influence a cross functional/indirect team and agency partners
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize/multi-task effectively

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with IDNs and Medical Groups
  • Marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion
  • People management experience
  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree preferred  

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Domestic travel of up to 30% for KAM meetings, medical conferences, congresses, and internal/external engagements KAM meetings.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169,700.00 to $282,900.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $152,700.00 to $254,500.00.
