The VP, of Advertising & Marketing supports the growth of identified regional markets through deployment of localized advertising strategies to increase awareness, marketing, and consideration of the company’s products and services. This role will directly partner with and support our Realty, Title, Originations, Insurance, Renovation, REO, and Property Management Team Members in the region.
Responsibilities include to develop, execute, and measure the effectiveness of localized advertising campaigns for the regional offices with the intent of maximizing brand consideration and the lifetime value of customers and clients. The position identifies opportunities in the local market to improve the engagement and delivery of relevant products and services.
In collaboration with business executives, the VP of Advertising & Marketing facilitates customer acquisition, retention, and cross-promotion of products and services via sponsorships, affiliations with local business associations, media buys, and event marketing following an accelerated test-and-learn approach. Additionally, the position develops and maintains relationships with outside marketing, lead generation, advertising agencies, and vendors. The position is responsible for ensuring referral activity is accurately captured and reported within the business CRMs and the enterprise CRM.
This role reports directly to the Group President of the Regional Model, along with a dotted line to the Chief Marketing Officer for The Fay Group. The role may manage onshore/ offshore resources as assigned.
What you will do for Fay:
- Collaborate with CMO and Group President of the Regional Model to foster a culture of referring and sharing product and service opportunities among the regional office team members and remote stakeholders as appropriate
- Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement cross-sell strategies and campaigns. Use customer segmentation data and event-triggered activities to generate demand
- Develop and perform qualitative and quantitative tests of campaign performance
- Document campaigns, outcomes and supporting processes to be able to measure and quantify tests and their results on a recurring basis
- Monitor cross-sell activity and review campaign analytics and initiatives; provide reporting and related analysis for executive management and their review
- Perform research to yield insights into local marketing trends, challenges and opportunities that lead to actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition and cross-sell activity
- Partner with Marketing Leadership to improve the prospect and customer/client website experience, as well as lead generation capabilities
- Assist with cross-functional initiatives, ensuring successful execution of the associated marketing deliverables
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s businesses to include an understanding of short-term goals and long-term strategies for the organization
- Lead with broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices
- Model behaviors that align with Fay's Values and Operating Principles. Role model ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What you will bring to Fay:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 7 + years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles in advertising, brand management, digital marketing, customer acquisition, lead generation, and customer engagement
- 7 + years of experience in financial services, real estate lending or a real estate firm
- Demonstrated project management
- Product management expertise developed through formal work experience
- Lead, advertising, and campaign testing; and script development and testing experience
- Experience managing campaign budgets, paid search, sponsorships, and SEO/ SEM
- Experience with developing and ongoing management of CRM tracking and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present to and facilitate discussions with executive leadership
- Strong people skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization to influence and drive desired results
- Effective management skills to include talent selection, coaching, and performance management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to track campaigns and scale success
- Critical thinking skills; high attention to detail; strong decision-making abilities
