Role Purpose 

The role will assist in developing and enhancing the brand through delivering effective Marketing campaigns and events.  This will involve end to end project management of events, working closely with our internal Business Units to deliver exceptional events for our clients and prospective clients.  In every aspect of your role, you will maintain our company values, promote Marketing best-practice and ensure that the Marketing team maintains a positive profile and is seen as a key business support function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project managing and delivering all Cosegic marketing events end to end, including in person and virtual seminars, events, roundtables and conferences to raise profile and enhance the Cosegic brand
  • Develop and maintain Cosegic events calendar for all sectors, including identification of new events for discussion with Business Units
  • Pre and post event communications and promotion, including email marketing, registration, websites and social media
  • Manage suppliers and logistics such as venue, shipping, printing and catering requirements 
  • Coordinate and create materials including literature, graphics and promotional items 
  • Onsite event management 
  • Budget tracking 
  • Setting objectives and targets for events, and post event analysis to inform decisions/future plans
  • Help to develop and carry-out the recording of podcasts as part of the company’s new digital strategy
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor marketing activity and the industry landscape to identify marketing opportunities for Cosegic
  • Be data driven, comfortable analysing, monitoring, and reporting on digital marketing data relating to the website and social media and making recommendations based on trend and analysis
  • Analysis of customer feedback and research data to support the development of the Cosegic brand
  • Maintain the brand guidelines document and promote adherence with the brand guidelines
  • Support the marketing team in the production of the monthly marketing report by collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative marketing data accurately and on time
  • Manage website content updates and help maintain an accurate and up to date digital presence
  • Manage new company posts onto our LinkedIn company page, making sure that we meet our objectives
  • Maintain awareness of our membership of industry bodies and associations, make sure that these memberships are communicated internally and externally including on our website and that we use these channels to extend our marketing
  • Support the publication of articles, newsletters, factsheets, guides and other marketing content that demonstrates our knowledge and encourages the development of key stakeholder relationships
  • Support the maintenance of our sales and marketing database and CRM system so that it remains accurate and continues to support our communications, campaigns and management reporting requirements
  • Deliver all marketing activity on time and in line with agreed budgets
  • Maintain awareness of marketing trends and continually seek new ways to improve the Marketing team’s performance and overall contribution to the business

Person Specification

  • Marketing graduate with a year’s marketing experience – either gained as an industrial placement or postgraduate
  •  Experience of working in a Marketing team
  • Experience in a professional services environment – desirable but not essential

We employ over 60 people who work together in industry specialist teams, servicing over 800 clients from the following sectors; wholesale investment firms (including hedge funds, private market firms, corporate finance and brokers), capital markets (including asset managers and broker/dealers), wealth management, payment services and cryptoassets, consumer credit and insurance and lending.

This is a full-time, one year fixed term contract, worked over 5 days (hybrid), Monday to Friday. The role is open to hybrid working between home and our London office.
