The role
We are seeking a talented and versatile Marketing Designer to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for creating and managing content across various digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency while supporting our marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who can work efficiently on multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards. You should be able to translate marketing objectives into visually appealing and effective designs across various mediums, and have a knack for writing playful, persuasive short copy.
What you’ll do:
- Website design
- Update and maintain the company website
- Design and implement new web pages, blog posts and landing pages
- Optimise web designs for SEO and user experience
- Review important website stats such as traffic, bounce rate etc for website optimisation
- Participating in the creation of short and medium copy
- Digital content creation
- Create banners, flyers, and other marketing materials for campaigns
- Design presentations and other corporate communications
- Short and medium copywriting for digital content
- SEO-optimised, long form copywriting
- Video production
- Produce and edit short videos for marketing and social media use
- Event Support
- Design materials for expos and other events (e.g., banners, booth graphics)
- Produce visual assets for marketing campaigns (e.g., back-to-school, holidays)
- Contribute to generating taglines, titles, and other event copy
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Experience with web design and content management systems
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their application in web design
- Familiarity with video editing software and motion graphics tools
- Strong interest in using AI tools to scale work capabilities
- Proficiency in Canva and Figma
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
- Strong understanding of design principles and current design trends
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Copywriting skills are advantageous
- E-commerce experience is desirable
- As a collaborative team player, you will actively contribute to a wide range of Marketing initiatives and activities
