Senior Marketing Executive

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy across all online and offline channels to meet business objectives. This role involves launching a new to market Smart City product and primarily focuses on marketing to the public sector. You will co-ordinate our strategy on a day-to-day basis and report into the Marketing Director.


Role and Responsibility:

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will have complete bottom-line responsibility for creating and executing innovative marketing plans deploying online and offline direct marketing tactics.

  • Increase the awareness of the brand and its services across effective elements of the marketing mix
  • Identify key stakeholders through market research and develop strategies to build relationships
  • Write, edit and proofread accurate, high quality slide packs and presentations for use by the Executive team and keep the marketing materials up to date
  • Create, develop and manage marketing campaigns, online, email, social, events, PR and associated marketing collateral
  • Manage and maintain the company website
  • Track and analyse campaign performance and provide regular internal reports
  • Control all expenditure to within budget and prepare monthly forecasts

Required Skills:

  • Degree educated in English language or Marketing
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ relevant marketing experience
  • Strategic, analytical and creative thinker
  • Experience of marketing to the public sector
  • Proven experience in improving acquisition for recent employers
  • Experience in planning, running and optimizing digital campaigns
  • Creative writing skills and media creation for advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge in Photoshop / Web Design
  • Proactive and shows initiative – a self-starter
  • Delivery focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with negotiation skills
  • Strong organisation and budgeting skills with good attention to detail
  • Good communication with peers, senior team members and third party suppliers
