The Role:
Edison is looking for an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will own three key sets of responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation – you will work closely with the CEO and Sales Director to create leads which convert into sales. You will also work closely with the Head of Client Services on activities which will not only retain clients but help us to up-sell and cross-sell products across our existing base.
- Brand Development – it is critical that Edison is top of mind and its proposition well-understood across the market for equity research and broader IR services. You will own those objectives and all things brand.
- Client Digital Marketing – we promote our content via various digital platforms. These include social media – most often LinkedIn and Facebook - as well as other media such as YouTube pre-rolls and Google Ads. You will also manage the detail of the campaigns, and own the digital marketing strategy, present results to each of our clients on a monthly basis and make recommendations on how performance can be improved. Iterative gains are expected regularly.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the CEO and CFO to develop and deliver the annual marketing and digital client marketing strategy for group, including regional and sector focused plans.
- Build Edison revenue generation, brand campaigns to support specific objectives across our range of channels and segments in support of the annual marketing plans.
- Lead the execution of Edison revenue generation, brand campaigns from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.
- Design marketing collateral, including sales presentations/brochures/case studies as well as dedicated materials for events, webinars and conferences.
- Evaluate the impact of all campaigns in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead generation, client retention, reach and ROI.
- Manage and create appropriate content for socials (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram)
- Continuously evaluate, optimize, and enhance marketing/DM campaigns for maximum ROI within budgets.
- Manage external PR agency, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors.
- Responsible for all external comms including newsletters, ads, socials and marketing releases.
- Ensuring marketing/ DM activity is communicated effectively with the business internally, with regular updates to ensure cohesion and alignment on how Edison is positioned.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry/market trends and leveraging insights to elevate marketing strategies
Person specification
- Experience building annual revenue generation, brand plans, as well as reporting on their effectiveness.
- Proven direct response marketing experience.
- Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages.
