ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic channel marketer to join our UK and Ireland marketing team, which forms part of our EMEA marketing team and works in close partnership with our UK distribution team.

Our EMEA marketing team consists of channel teams that are closely aligned to our regional distribution teams as well as teams with specific expertise in PR, Insight & Product Marketing, Market Research, Events, Studio Design, Digital Marketing and Advertising.

The successful candidate will help us build on the asset growth and increased brand awareness T. Rowe Price has experienced in the UK over the past few years. We would also expect this person to support the delivery of the overall EMEA marketing strategy, particularly through representing the needs of channel marketing and working on specific projects.

The team’s remit cover both the institutional and intermediary segments and we are therefore looking for candidates with an interest in both these segments as well as financial markets and investment strategies generally. The roleholder will execute activities across the marketing mix. Working with the wider marketing team, relationship managers, investment professionals and external agencies, the successful candidate will support the production and timely delivery of high-quality campaigns, events and other ad-hoc activities to the marketplace that increase T. Rowe Price’s brand awareness, consideration and selection among professional investors. We are looking for a candidate with an innovative, growth-driven mindset, who can deliver on existing planned activity as well as identify and deliver new initiatives to grow our brand and raise assets in the UK.

Given the importance of ESG to both ourselves and our client base, we are looking for some awareness of ESG and how that is likely to evolve from a market, product and client perspective.

The focus areas for this role are:

Manage events schedule, including execution of third party and hosted events from start to finish Own content distribution via owned and third party channels, gathering metrics to assess ROI and evolve strategy. Work in partnership with SMMs on planning and executing UK media plans. Effective and impactful stakeholder management and influencing Take ownership and accountability for specific activity, both assigned and based on own initiative Deliver UK digital communications; including social, email and online

ROLE SUMMARY

Contributes substantively to cross-functional teams that develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans that

Position our brand and capabilities with UK intermediary and institutional channels. Analyses multiple data streams and optimises tactics. Implements plans and processes according to Segment Marketing strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with cross-functional peers and segment leads in the execution of multichannel marketing plans aligned to specific populations of prospects and clients.

  • Makes recommendations on specific media and promotional channels to be employed to best promote supported products and services and drive targeted audience engagement.

  • Determines appropriate measurement criteria and methods for newly suggested promotional audiences and tactics.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Ability to innovate and deliver bold new initiatives, as well as execute on assigned ones

  • Organised mindset; particularly on events execution and content distribution

  • Potential to develop and implement data-led marketing strategy

  • Good working knowledge of the UK institutional and intermediary markets

  • Broad marketing knowledge, including analysis

  • Internal and external stakeholder management ability

  • Budget management experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
