Position Overview:
As Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to lead product strategy and innovation for a market leader in global sales intelligence. The CPO will report directly to our CEO and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product development, enhance user experience, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a compelling product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and market trends.
- Innovation and Roadmap: Lead the product team in defining and executing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to drive successful product launches and enhancements.
- Customer Focus: Champion customer-centric product development by understanding customer pain points, gathering feedback, and translating insights into actionable improvements.
- M&A Integration: Play a key role in integrating acquired technologies, ensuring seamless alignment with Cognism’s product strategy and customer value proposition.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the executive team to manage and optimize the product development budget.
Qualifications:
- Proven Senior Leadership in B2B SaaS: Demonstrated experience as a senior product leader, ideally in B2B SaaS environments, with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience.
- Strategic Vision: A strategic mindset with a keen focus on market trends, user experience, and the ability to make data-driven decisions that have a positive business impact.
- Innovation and Revenue Growth: A strong track record of conceiving, developing, and successfully launching innovative products that have driven substantial revenue growth.
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Outstanding social and emotional intelligence skills with the ability to navigate complex social dynamics within the team, across the organization, and cultivate deep customer empathy.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Effective Stakeholder Communication: Proven ability to obtain buy-in from executive leadership, effectively communicate the product strategy and roadmap, and align stakeholders toward a shared vision. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in using data analytics and market research to inform product strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: A relentless commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, resulting in a customer-centric product development approach.
- Product Portfolio Oversight: Experience in overseeing a product portfolio with an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of at least $200 million, showcasing your ability to manage and scale products successfully.
- True North Leadership: Proficiency in defining and communicating a compelling "True North" for the product roadmap, ensuring alignment and commitment from both the team and stakeholders.
- Global Experience: Experience with international markets is highly valuable, and specific experience with sales intelligence products is a significant plus.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively to product development processes.
- Flexibility and Global Collaboration: Willingness to work flexible hours, accommodating Eastern US or UK time zones to facilitate global business operations and team collaboration.
